Goldenseal Ointment

This salve is perfect to use in place of Neosporin. Works great at healing broken skin, dry and chaffed skin. 

Ingredients: cocoa butter, beeswax, arrowroot, goldenseal, sandalwood, vanilla c02, yarrow, pomegranate seed, chamomile, helychrisum

Goldenseal- Applied to the skin for rashes, ulcers, wound infections, itching, eczema, acne, dandruff, ringworm, herpes blisters, and cold sores.

Goldenseal has healing properties that are terrific for healing minor skin wounds. Make sure the skin is clean and dry, and then apply a generous layer of goldenseal ointment. Goldenseal will not only help the wound heal faster, but has antibiotic properties that can prevent infection.

Helychrisum - Helichrysum essential oil has anti-inflammatory, antifungal, and antibacterial properties that may be useful in healing skin. Helichrysum essential oil contains an anti-inflammatory substance called arzanol, which plays a part in healing wounds.

Yarrow- Yarrow has antimicrobial and pain relieving traits and is wonderful for soothing skin that is prone to irritations. It is also deeply nourishing and restorative. It aids in healing broken capillaries and is ideal for sensitive skin as well as problematic skin.

 Sandalwood- Sandalwood oil contains antioxidants that help maintain the buoyancy and structure of the skin cells. It also reduces dryness and replenishes the moisture in skin, increasing elasticity.
